Let Your Story Tell Itself

Fancy! Who would have thought that our little village of Penselwood would feature in a published novel! But yes! Furthermore, it has never been out of print! “Ferney” and its sequel, “The Lives She Left Behind,” are part of a trilogy, with the final installment due to be written by James Long later this year.

James spent twenty years of his life as a reporter for the BBC, traveling widely in the world. He wrote four thrillers for Penguin using some of his strange experiences whilst with the BBC, and then wrote Ferney.

This is not all – he has written no less than 14 novels, has ghostwritten two books, and has written for theatre and television.

James is passionate about helping others find their writing voice. He has extensive experience leading creative courses at the Arvon Foundation and other institutions. His session on Sunday will be a taster of his longer courses and a great way to start your writing journey.

This will be a fantastic session, giving your story the space to germinate and grow. Please book your tickets here for this fantastic learning session at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 6th.
