Publishing Question Time

Do you have a burning question about getting books published? Have you ever wondered about the difference between getting an agent and/or a publisher? What is an independent publisher, and what do they mean by the Big 5? I have heard about vanity publishing and don’t know why I should avoid it.

Hopefully our Publishing Question Time will give you the answers to these and many more questions you may have. This will be a fully interactive session so have your questions ready and join our audience for a learning experience we hope will help your journey.

Tracey Lewis will host our fabulous publishing panel. Tracey worked at Pan Macmillan for over 17 years before founding her own publishing company, Igloo Books. She now lives in Dorset with her lovely dog; Mr Bingley.

Tracey will be joined by published author, founder of the Untold Stories Academy, and publishing company co-director Francesca Tyer. Also joining her will be Kirsty Crawford who has been a professional editor for many years before turning her hand to writing. She now writes very successfully as Lulu Taylor, so she must know a thing or two about perfecting that draft book. Our final panelist is self-published author Rik Lonsdale, who will discuss an alternative route to publication.

Anything you need to know but were afraid to ask can be revealed by our expert panel. Join our audience and bring your questions to the Grosvenor on Friday 4 April at 6 pm by getting your tickets here.
